Fun Adventure at Lotte World
Roller coasters, delicious food, and an amusement park atmosphere, Lotte World is filled with so many dreams and imagination!
I love going to amusement parks, so my goal is to visit every amusement park in South Korea while I’m here. South Korea is very small, so you can only imagine how many people come out to the amusement parks on the weekend !! Most of the attractions had a 1 to 2 hour wait, so be prepared to spend most of the day standing in line. I highly suggest going on a weekday if that’s a place you’d like to visit.
One tradition people do when they visit Lotte World is rent out school uniforms for the day. Why ? I’m not sure, but I guess it makes people feel nostalgic about when life had less responsibilities ! I didn’t wear a uniform, but I really wanted to try it out, so when I visit my next theme park, I will be sure to join in on the tradition!
If you’re a roller coaster rider, I give all of the attractions at Lotte World an average rating of 5.5/10. I have definitely experienced more thrilling rides at bigger amusement parks, but since the amusement parks are limited here, they are worth a try. Lotte World is also a very family-friendly park, so expect many families and children. The food is nothing special and there are lots of street food that you should see outside of the park, so I would recommend to also eat before you arrive at the park as it will save you a bit of money!
I’m an amusement park fanatic, so I enjoyed every second of it and I also went with a friend that made the experience much more memorable! I can’t wait to go on more adventures and explore the amusement park gems of Korea.
Thanks for reading and I hope to catch you in my next adventure 😌
